Jeanne Grandilli
Jeanne Grandilli is an author and publisher of Bon Bon Books. Her debut novel, Princess Death, Tale of a Cursed Princess, is co-authored with her daughter, Shaina Rothberg. First published in ‘17, a new (properly formatted) edition is set for release in September ‘25 under their own imprint. The duo plan to write and publish many more books together and have completed two more works slated for release in the coming year. Previously, Jeanne was employed in the Hollywood film industry as an Editor’s Guild story analyst. She has worked for most of the major film studios, including 15 years at Disney Pictures. As a story analyst, she read and critiqued thousands of screenplays and books, which was very good preparation for being a writer.
Before turning (belatedly) to novel writing, Jeanne penned numerous optioned screenplays and two stage plays, many co-authored with her husband. She attended UCLA where she received a BA in English and an MFA in Film/Screenwriting. When not writing, she enjoys reading, travelling, decorating, concocting recipes for her family, and astrology, which is highlighted in her upcoming Club California cozy mystery series. Jeanne resides in a lovely SoCal suburb with her husband, family, and five wily cats, many of which make cameo appearances in her ensuing novels.
